Friday Favorites - Peach Blossom Style

Friday Favorites

I’m so excited to be linking up to join Erika, Andrea and Narci in sharing my favorite things from this week. It’s been pretty busy around here lately, so let’s get right to it…

I had a birthday recently, and one of my favorite presents was a Fab Fit Fun box that my daughter surprised me with. I received the Editor’s Box and it was chock-full of goodies. A full review will be coming to the blog soon (spoiler alert: it is pretty fabulous), but here’s a peek at one of the things that came in the box that I find myself reaching for daily. This coffee tumbler has been perfect to take along when I’m walking my son to school or going out for an early morning appointment. Plus, who doesn’t want to be told that you look gorgeous first thing in the morning?

I finally came out of my post-holiday hibernation/spending freeze and made it over to the mall last weekend to see what was new in my favorite stores. How cute would this outfit look with wedge sandals and a pendant necklace? The top and the pants both came home with me.

So did this sweater…

And this one, too…

And because I have a thing for stripes, I also bought this top (in my defense, look how adorable the back is! And I couldn’t resist the lace detail on the hem)…

Moving on from my shopping finds, one of the things we take pretty seriously around here is Wine Wednesday. We bought this bottle at the Fattoria La Torre winery in Tuscany during our 20th Anniversary trip to Italy last fall. The Stringaio is a red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah and is quite tasty. Nothing like being transported back to a romantic Italian getaway in the middle of a hectic week.

The weather here in the South has been all over the place lately. One day we are having an ice storm and a few days later it’s in the 70’s and sunny (no wonder my head hurts all the time). The spring-like days smack dab in the middle of winter are a nice break, though, and a great excuse to get outside and enjoy our sun porch. When I stumbled upon these faux succulents I knew they’d make a great addition to the décor out there.

Last, but not least, my absolute favorite thing from this week was finally hitting the publish button and launching this blog. Peach Blossom Style is just a baby – and if you’ve stumbled upon it, I want to say thank you for taking the time to read it. Come back often and check out what’s new!

I love your new Blog! I can certainly relate to the need to get back out there and shop. I like all your sweater finds. They look surprisingly similar to what is hanging in my closet. You have great taste. I can sypathize with the unpredictable weather. Living in the Chicago area I am used to sub zero and lots of snow, but not this year. Green things always make me feel better. Because my condo doesn’t get a lot of sun, I do resort to artificial plants in my bathroom and kitchen. If you buy good quality ones it is hard to tell the difference. I did purchase your recommendation for the Kenra 25 hairspray. I have a bathroom “graveyard” of products that don’t perform like promised, so it is very helpful to hear about those that work. Congratulations on the Blog.
